New White Paper on bank stress testing approaches
The variety in design and methodology of supervisory stress tests is large and lacks global alignment. As a consequence, large international banking groups are required to implement different stress testing methodologies at various levels within their organizations. Moreover, the stress testing approaches are still further evolving in most jurisdictions. This makes it advisable for banks to build on flexible solutions which can be adapted quickly if needed.
In my first Orbit36 White Paper, I provide an overview of the supervisory stress testing approaches used in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Japan.
