Orbit36 launches Board of Directors Training
A number of incidents in banks have shown that correctly assessing the risks is crucial to avoid losses and reputational damage.
Board members of a bank need to have sufficient banking expertise to understand the mechanics, risks and dependencies of a bank’s business model. This is necessary to raise the right questions and effectively supervise the management. Our newly launched Board of Directors Training is tailored to the specific needs of board members. It addresses the increased responsibilities and skills expected from individual board members and fosters effective discussions.
The training consists of four modules:
- Structural Risks of the Banking Business
- Balance Sheet Management
- Financial Management
- Strategy and Future Management
The training modules 1 + 2 are provided together with Claude F. Moser (former Group Treasurer UBS and Vice Chairman of Orbit36).
Module 4 is provided by Diana Wolf-Dolgner (CEO Market and Beyond Consulting).
All training modules are available online and in person, individual or Group training.
While the training is targeted to board members, it can also be of high value for senior executives, banking regulators and auditors.
